But people did not like his acting at all and Luv’s first film flopped badly. Then after staying away from acting for 8 years, Luv appeared in JP Dutta’s multi-starrer movie ‘Paltan’. But this film also did not do well and flopped. After which Luv’s acting career also sank and he moved away from cinema.

After failing in acting, Luv decided to try his luck in politics. After this, he contested the Bihar assembly elections in 2020 on behalf of Congress. Luv got a ticket from Bankipur seat. But here too his luck turned out to be bad and he lost to BJP candidate Nitin Nabin by 39 thousand votes.
